Question by lile052001: how can i make a bettr travel guide so people wont have to carry around big books of them while traveling?
i have traveled alot and i am so tired of carrying around a 150 pg travel guide. Whats something new i could use to travel with so i dont have to lug that huge encyclopedia like book around?

I do my homework at home on the internet prior to traveling.
I request a local travel guide from the local visitors information center well in advance so I have by the time I leave.
Almost all US cities have their own individual visitors centers with booklets.
Added bonus is that it is specific for the area you are visiting with the actual dates of local highlights and events and they also include coupons for money off.

First move into an area that features one or more of these trips. Then shop around for someone looking for a guide. You obviously should have some type of expertise in one or more of these areas. In many cases these guides work for short money, and rely upon the tourists for tips.

ryanair.com does very cheap flights throughtout Europe and has big ”lowcost hubs” in Italy (namely Milano Bergamo, Roma Ciampiano……)

Budapest isn’t too expensive and not very far from you.
My son had his honeymoon at Hevis Lake near Lake Balaton in Jan.
Hevis is a open lake of hot mineral water that is open all year long. It could be snowing outside but the warm waters can still be swam in. The room rates are reasonable in Jan. My son got a 5 star room for only around . per night since it was off season. There are trains that can take you there from the city. It’s about 2 1/2 hours away. Very romantic and there is several small towns near there and still things to see in the winter. People ice skate on lake Balaton which is very close to Hevis.

I really dont understand what alimentary toxicosis is. I’ve checked my dictionaries on this but found none. Anyway,here we go.

How can alimentary toxicosis be avoided and how can a guide handle it?
1. To avoid alimentary toxicosis, the guide should bring tourists to designated restaurants only for meals.
2. The guide must constantly remind the tourists not to eat the food sold by street vendors.
3. If the food or drinks are spoiled, the guide should ask the restaurant manager for a replacement.
** I think in this case, it would be automatic that the restaurant manager will ask for an apology.
4. Remind the tourists that there are foods food that can be eaten by the locals but tourists can’t.
5. If the tourist is poisoned, the guide should perform the needed first aid and bring him to the hospital afterwards.
6. Report the incident to the local health department or hospital. The local health department shall examine the cause of the poisoning.
7. Request a medical report from the health department.
8. The guide should inform the agency and the patient’s family members of the incident.
9. The guide should be familiar with alimentary toxicosis, and how to handle such incidents.

Is there chilli pepper tourism or a chilli tourist map etc etc for finding and eating super hot chillis in Bangalore, Kerala or Goa, for instance?

I’m a fan of super hot chillis and I’m thinking of coming to India with some like minded friends. We hear Indians know hot to make hot chilli meals…

of course you can get hot chilli meals that too in Andhra state cities and towns available, but hot chilli meals not available in other parts of india. you can get hot green chilli bajjis at chennai and bangalore besides andhra state cities and towns.
